Funeral services for Alice Fay Griffin, age 67, of Fayetteville will be conducted  Friday at 10AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Wayne McGee officiating. Burial will follow in Mulberry Cemetery beside her husband Willie Martin “Bill” Griffin. Mrs. Griffin passed away Tuesday morning at Lincoln Medical Center.

She was a native of Wayne County, MI and the daughter of the late Fraser Leon and Geneva Mae Bell Ashburn. Mrs. Griffin was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Tina McGee and husband Reggie and Deborah Allen Oljey all of Fayetteville, two sons Larry Watts and wife Patsy of Fayetteville and Curtis Watts of Flintville, two brothers Roy Lee Ashburn of Illinois, Robert Ashburn of Arizona, two sisters Shirley Andrews of Illinois and Jeania Higgins of Oregon, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Christian Fellowship Church.
