It is with regret that we announce the death of Mrs. Alma “Mee-Mee” Riggs, age 86 of Fayetteville, who passed peacefully on April 9, 2010.

A native of West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Estel and Bessie Holstein Gibson. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She had one son, Ray Riggs Jr. (deceased) who with his wife Kay Riggs gave her three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Alma had two daughters, Jennifer Geanakos of Arlington, VA and Sara Russell of Fayetteville who with her husband Andy Russell gave her six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren with a third great-grandchild due in August.
