Funeral services for Annie Gertrude Head Moyers, age 88 of Lynchburg, will be conducted Friday at 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Richard McWilliams officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery beside her husband of 67 years Robert Lee Moyers. Mrs. Moyers passed away Wednesday at Harton Hospital.

Mrs. Moyers was a native of Boaz, AL, a resident of Nashville for 40 years and a resident of Lincoln County since 1990. She was a homemaker and a member of the Wells Hill Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter Linda Ward (John) of Lynchburg, a son David Moyers of Nashville, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda K. Waldron.

Visitation with the family will be Friday from 11AM-2PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wells Hill Church of Christ.
