Please allow me to offer my condolences to the, Pitt family with these comforting words: One day, before Martha’s brother Lazarus took sick and died, Jesus provided new information on the resurrection hope, saying: “For just as the Father raises the dead up and makes them alive, so the Son also makes alive whomever he wants to. Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:21, 28, 29) This is the resurrection hope for, Mrs. Pitt, as well. Truly, the resurrection is something for us to look forward to with eager anticipation and joy. I am very sorry for your loss. May God’s Word comfort you and your family.
