Funeral services for Mr. Charles M. Hendrix, age 83, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Hyde officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Hendrix passed away Monday morning at his residence.

A son of the late Felix and May Whitaker Hendrix, he was a native of Lincoln County, retired from Amana, served in the Army in WWII, and attended Harms Methodist Church.

Survivors include his brother-in-law Bobby Sandlin and wife Gayle of Fayetteville, sister-in-law Edith Sandlin of Fayetteville, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday at Higgins Funeral Home.
