Clare Ralston
October 11, 1949 - February 10, 2012
Funeral services for Ms. Clare Ralston, age 62 of Frankewing, will be conducted Monday at 2:30 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Ms. Ralston passed away Friday at her residence.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Fred Ralston and Clara Ralston Wolfhard who survives. She worked for the National Park Service as a photographer and was a self-employed editor and writer. She was a graduate of Harpeth Hall School in Nashville and the American University in Washington, D.C.
In addition to her mother survivors include her brother Dr. Fred Ralston Jr. (Farris) of Fayetteville, sister Susan Ralston McLean of Olympia, Washington, brother-in-law Arthur McLean of Dallas Texas, nephews Will and Jim Ralston of Fayetteville and Alexander McLean of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her aunt Josephine Ralston (Mrs. Douglas) Binns of Nashville.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 4 PM till 6 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Fayetteville Lincoln County Humane Society in memory of Bluff.

| Tribute: | I was shocked and saddened to hear that Clare had died. We were together at AU in DC and she was the photographer at my wedding i 1972. Many fond memories of the parties and dinners with Clare and other friends in NW DC–she was kind and funny and always a joy to be with. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends. |
