Graveside funeral service for Mr. Donald Allen Hamlin age 70, of the Red Oak community, will be conducted Tuesday at 1 PM at Wrights Cemetery with Bro. Chuck Brown officiating. Mr. Hamlin passed away Saturday evening at his residence.

A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Conroy and Florence Woodward Hamlin, he was a farmer and was a security guard for Pinkerton Security and a member of the Red Oak Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Mary Louise Davis Hamlin of Petersburg, son William Christopher Hamlin of Fayetteville, 12 grandchildren and three great-granchildren. He was preceded by son Michael Allen Hamlin and brother John Edgar Hamlin.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 11 AM until 12:30 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
