Obituary

Funeral services for Edna Estelle Crouch Williams, age 85 of Columbia, will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Vassar officiating. Burial will follow in Kelso Cemetery beside her husband W. H. Williams, Jr. Mrs. Williams passed away Monday in Maury Regional Hospital.

A native of Franklin County and raised on Crystal Ridge, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late John W. and Emily Myrtle Sullenger Crouch. She was formerly employed by Maury Regional Hospital as registration clerk and was a member of the Pleasant Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughter Sandra (James) Babb of Mt. Pleasant, TN, grandchildren Bill (Libby) Gault of Guam, Lori (David) Reynolds of Colmesneil, TX, Will (Sharon) Rhine of Culleoka, TN, Rebecca Whitworth of Corrigan, TX and Eric Rhine of Mt. Pleasant, TN, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by a son John Michael Williams.

Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 5-8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

    Edna Williams was one of the best, if not the best friend I ever had. She was a sweet, generous, kind and loving person and will be missed by all who knew her. Love you Edna!
