Funeral services for Mrs. Janie Shelton West, age 80 of Portland, will be conducted Monday at 11 AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. James Andrews and Bro. Richard McWilliams officiating. Burial will follow in Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens. Mrs. West passed away Friday evening at Sumner Regional Medical Center.

A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Lillian Sullivan Shelton. She was the owner of several businesses and formerly attended the Wells Hill Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband Russell West of Portland, TN, daughters Debbie Griggs and husband Steve of Fayetteville, Andrea Reed of Portland, TN, and Monica Robinson and husband Tony of Gallatin, TN, grandchildren Baily Robinson, Victoria Robinson, Andrew Reed, Rachel Reed, Brad Cowan and Chase Cowan, and sisters Edith Mitchell of Fayetteville, TN and Mable Woodard of Tampa, FL.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
