Funeral services for Judith Kulburg Bracewell, age 74 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Eck-Cleric Kathy Odell officiating. Burial will follow in Stateline Cemetery. Mrs. Bracewell died Wednesday in an auto accident in Athens, AL.
A native of Camden, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Ervin and Anna Stubbs Kulburg. Ms. Bracewell was a registered nurse, a member of the First Presbyterian Church, attended Eckencar, and was very active in the Carriage House Players.
Survivors include her son Michael Shawn Bracewell and wife Donna of Petersburg, four grandchildren Carmen Latham and Cori Honey, Rachel and Michael Shane Bracewell, great-grandchildren Juliana, Ava, Rose, Kalila and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday evening 5-8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

The past few days so many times when my heart was breaking or I did not know what to do my first thought was to call Judy.
There is such a huge void now . Out of all of the people that have come into my life , only two have ever had such pure faith in me … My beloved husband , Shawn and you precious one .
No matter what ideas , thoughts or plans I had for my life ; You were always there to cheer me on and believe in me.

For the billions who have already been snatched up by death, it will be possible to experience a resurrection. Can you imagine the joy and excitement when those in the former group welcome back the latter? A close look at some of the resurrection accounts in the Bible can give us a foretaste of what it might be like. (Mark 5:38-42; Luke 7:11-17) Indeed, seeing our dead loved ones come back to life will produce in us a marvelous sensation of joy and exhilaration. Jesus said: “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29) None of us have ever seen such a thing take place; it will surely be one of the grandest of “the things unseen.”—2 Cor. 4:18. Ms. Judy was a wonderful friend, who was larger than life. She was a star in her fantasy world and she was the sunshine in my life. Her kindness, love for life, and true friendship made life worth living. We as the audience had the opportunity to view the great journey of her life and marvelous talent that she had shared with us. She was a gem and I personally will miss her greatly. She love us all and shared her beautiful self with us. I am so thankful to have known her and have her as a great actress, movie star and friend. She loved her family, shared stories and was the cheerleader for us as we move toward being, healthy, whole and stars in our own life. You and your family are in my prayers always.
