Funeral services for Mrs. Kathleen Buntley Waid, age 94, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 2 PM Tuesday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. James West officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens beside her husband Holman Waid who passed away in 1978. Mrs. Waid passed away Saturday afternoon at Donalson Care Center.

A daughter of the late Jake Rogers and Ermine Coulter Buntley, she was a native of Lincoln County, formerly employed with Serbin, a homemaker, and a lifelong member of Mimosa Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughters Margaret Waid Taylor of Fayetteville and Elaine Waid Bevill (Bob) of Fayetteville, grandsons Waid Ray (JoAnn) of Memphis and Kirt Ray (Renee) of Fayetteville, great-granddaughter Lauren Kathleen Ray of Memphis, sister Mary Creson of Fayetteville, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be from 5-7:30 PM Monday evening at Higgins Funeral Home.
