Funeral services for Mr. Leonard George Hughes, age 90, of Fayetteville will be conducted Friday at 12PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Hughes passed away Tuesday night in Donalson Care Center.

He was a native of Madison County, AL and the son of the late Jess and Myrtle Brooks Hughes. He was a U. S. Navy veteran and a retired car salesman with Haley’s Chevrolet.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years Evelyn Monks Hughes of Fayetteville, daughter Janice Dendy and husband Bob of Dickson, TN, two sons Douglas Hughes and wife Mary of Trenton, GA and Randall Hughes of Austin, TX, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday night 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home
