Lillian Henderson Wilson

July 6, 1924 - December 26, 2011

Funeral services for Lillian Henderson Wilson, age 87 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Wednesday at 11 AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Dr. Ronnie Gay officiating. Burial will follow in Stewarts Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson passed away Monday morning at her residence.

She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the later Vanion Caston and Myrtle Mae Monks Henderson. She was a flight attendant for National Airlines and a member of the Prospect Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son Randall Wilson of Fayetteville, two sisters Jean Henderson and Leona Opkyke both of Fayetteville, three grandsons Joshua, Pershing and David Wilson, half-brother David Henderson of Fayetteville and two half-sisters Paula Baker and Pamela Wilhaite.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband Pershing Wilson who died in 1973.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

I do know she is at rest with her Lord, and she was prepared for this journey home to be with her creator and Saviour.
