Graveside services for Mrs. Lillian Sue Hawkins, age 83, of Fayetteville will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2PM at Stewarts Cemetery with Bro. Richard Rogers officiating.  Higgins Funeral Home in charge of services.  Mrs. Hawkins passed away Monday night May 4th at Lincoln Skill Care.  She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Walter and Lillie Bell Vaughn Carter. She was a former employee of Blue Ridge Manufacturing and a member of the Liberty Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son Terry Henderson and wife Shirley of Remlap, AL.  She was preceded in death by two brothers Knox and Mack Carter. There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to services.
