Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Carolyn Mathis Tripp, age 69, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 4PM Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Ivey officiating.  Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.  Mrs. Tripp passed away Monday in Huntsville Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Cleadous and Agnes Dixon Mathis, was retired from Huntsville City School System and was a member of the Camargo Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband William D. Tripp of Fayetteville, sons  Joey (Lee) Marlow of Madison, AL, Jeff (Bobbie) Marlow of New Market, AL, and Johnny  (Adrienne) Marlow of Huntsville, two daughters Sharon (Brett) Ayers of Huntsville and Glinda (Glenn) Hardin of Gurley, AL, step-children David (Kim) Tripp of Blountsville, AL, Sherry Phelps of Fayetteville, Kelly  (Jason) Cagle of Double Springs, AL, Wesley Tripp of Placerville, CA, sisters  Patricia (George) Johnson of Elkmont, AL, Sherry Clem of Elkmont, Laura (Gary) Meier of Harvest, AL and brother Emmett Mathis of Huntsville,  nineteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
