December 7, 1917 - June 9, 2008

     Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie O. Patrick, age 90 of Fayetteville will be conducted at 10AM Thursday morning at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Ward officiating.  Burial will follow in Cedar Hills Cemetery.  Mrs. Patrick passed away Monday afternoon at Lincoln Medical Center.

     A native of Marshall County, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late John Oliver and Ezzie Ola Price Owens, was a homemaker, and an active member of First United Methodist Church for 50 years.

     Survivors include her husband Wayne Freeman Patrick of Fayetteville, daughters Carol P. Stuart of Dalton, Georgia and Jane Nix of Flintville, nine grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Patrick Young.

     Visitation with the family will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday evening at the Funeral Home.
