I’ve known Paxton since I worked at Bilo in Fayetteville,TN in the late 90’s. I remembered, Pax was a good friend and he was always smiling. He loved soccer and was great at it! The last time I saw, Pax was several year’s ago… I will miss you, Pax.

I was blessed with the opportunity to know Pax for a short time. What a joy. That boy always made me smile. I never met anyone that was so gentle hearted.
We would pick at each other in fun and boy did we laugh.
Pax was also a great cook. I remember one night he was frying potatoes while we were BBQ’ing the meat. I came in and he had enough potatoes to feed a small army, but they were so damn good, I think we ate like a small army.
Pax, I love you like an nephew, enjoyed you like a friend and will miss you like you were my very own.
Go with God my dear sweet soul.

Pax was always a sweet and fun young man. I remember spending the night at his house when I was a child with his little sister. We would tease each other just like we were siblings. I remember his baseball games in the hot Lincoln County summers which really doesn’t seem like that long ago, and him burning the song “No Woman, No Cry” on a cd and leaving it for Stacy in her room when she was 15 and heartbroken over a first love. He was a sweetie like that. I won’t pretend to understand situations like this or the immense, immense pain his family must be going through. But I do know for a fact that Pax will live on in the hearts of others that he touched, he is gone but he will certainly not be forgotten………………I can see that sweet, cool laid back smile of his in my mind right now. Rest in Peace dear Pax Pirtle and God Bless the Pirtle family. Love and Prayers, Jennie Roles-Walter

    Death is nothing at all,
I have only slipped into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whaterver we were to each other,
    that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way which you alway used
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed at the little
    jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household
    word that it always was,
Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you, for an interval,
    somewhere very near,
    Just around the corner.
    All is well.

Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged,
Missing me one place search another,
I stop somewhere waiting for you.

    See you soon, dear boy
    Sasha
