Funeral service for Robert Coleman ( Bob) Smith, Jr., age 87 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Saturday April 4, 2015 at 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Kirk Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Kelso Cemetery. Mr. Smith passed away Tuesday March 31, 2015 at Donalson Care Center.
A native of Lincoln County, Mr. Smith was the son of the late Robert Coleman and Edna Pearl Gray Smith. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a life long farmer. Mr. Smith was a member of the Kelso Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Elks Club.
Survivors include a sister Mary Ann King of Louisville, KY, sister-in-law Jane Smith of Fayetteville, three nieces, five nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday April 4, 2015 from 12-2pm at Higgins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kelso Cumberland Presbyterian Church or the Elks Club Scholarship Fund.

In addition to my first comment, like to add that I enjoyed Bob’s sense of humor as a kid growing up in Kelso. He was always in a big way.
