Funeral services for Mrs. Sugg Wilson Thompson, age 92, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 11am Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Hudgins and Bro. Wayne Hastings officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens beside her husband Thomas Hayden Thompson.  Mrs. Thompson passed away Monday afternoon April 27th in Huntsville Hospital.

She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Lemuel and Lillie Jacobs Wilson.  Mrs. Thompson was former Director of the Lincoln County School Lunch Program and was a member of the Cyruston Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Netherland and husband Jack of Fayetteville and Carolyn Spray of Fayetteville, one brother Woodrow Wilson of Lynchburg,  five grandchildren Vicky Groce, Jackie Wright, Billy Jack Netherland, Jr, Sherrie Horton and Amy Giffin, 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by brother Bobby Wilson, two sisters Frances Cunningham and Glyn Riley and son-in-law Joe Spray.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cyruston Church of Christ.
