Obituary

Funeral service for Ms. Talafar Rae Bostick, age 40, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Wright’s Cemetery. Mrs. Bostick passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Lincoln Medical Center.

Mrs. Bostick was a native of Oceanside, CA, the daughter of Charles and Margaret Ann Griffin Riner.

Survivors include daughter Melody Deweese, granddaughter Sophia Nicole Mines, brother Tony Riner and boyfriend Jody Reed. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by grandparents Don and Lillie Riner and brother Larry Riner.

Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

    I am sorry to learn to the loss of Charles’ daughter Talafar. I first met her years ago while Mama and I were visiting one of her cousins in the Nursing Home.
