Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Koonce Pearson, age 92, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Stewarts Cemetery. Mrs. Pearson passed away Monday evening, December 29, 2008, at Lincoln Skill Care.

A daughter of the late Charles Napoleon and Minnie Howell Koonce, she was a native of Lincoln County, a homemaker, and a member of Park City Church of Christ. She loved her family, friends and church so very much. She was such a sweet and kind person and was loved by all.

Survivors include her daughter Carol Taylor and husband Charles of Flintville, sons Ronald Pearson and wife Jeanne, Lex Pearson and wife Ginger, all of Fayetteville, and Tim Pearson and wife Tracy of Calera, AL, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilburn Pearson and 2 sisters Etelka Franks and Louise Flynt.

Visitation with the family will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday evening at Higgins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Park City Church of Christ.
