Charles Higgins
Charles is the grandson of Hiram C. Higgins, founder of Higgins Funeral Home, and son of Philip M. Higgins the second generation owner. Charles has been with the funeral home since 1972.
Clay Higgins - Owner
Clay, son of Charles Higgins, returned to Fayetteville in 2001 as the fourth generation Higgins to join the family business.
Tommy Sisk - Family Care Assistant
Tommy has been a part of Higgins Funeral Home since 1972. Tommy is a native of Lincoln County, a graduate of Central High School, and an Elder at the Liberty Church of Christ. He is married to Becky Sisk. They have one son Whitney.
Larry Halcomb - Director
Larry started with Higgins Funeral Home in 1959 on a part-time basis. In 2001 he joined the staff full-time after retiring from BellSouth Telephone Company. Larry is a native of Lincoln County, a graduate of Central High School, and a member of the First Baptist Church. He is married to Margaret Halcomb. They have three daughters, Kim, Amy and Angie.
Elizabeth Sloan - Office Manager
Elizabeth joined Higgins Funeral Home in the Fall of 1982. She is a native of Lincoln County, a graduate of Central High School and a member of the Mimosa Church of Christ. She is married to Walter Sloan. They have two sons, Larry and David and three grandsons, Tanner, Levi and Dylan.
Christy Richardson - Director / Embalmer
Christy joined the Higgins Funeral Home staff in the summer of 2006. She is a native of Shelbyville, TN. She is married to William Chad.
Walter Sloan - Family Service Provider / Director / Embalmer
Walter has rejoined our staff to head our Complete Care program. He began his career in funeral service in 1968, and has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1985. He is the husband of Elizabeth Sloan, an Elder at the Mimosa Church of Christ, and the grandfather of Tanner, Levi and Dylan Sloan.
